Revolution in Military Affairs and Conflicts other than War

Professor Thomas P.M. Barnett is a Senior Strategic Researcher in the Warfare Analysis & Research Department, Center for Naval Warfare Studies, U.S. Naval War College. Currently, Thomas is on temporary assignment as the Assistant for Strategic Futures, Office of Force Transformation (OFT), Office of the Secretary of Defense, where he is working with OFT Director Vice Admiral Arthur K. Cebrowski (USN, ret.) on a cluster of strategic concepts that link change in the international security environment to the imperative of transforming U.S. military capabilities to meet future threats. Thomas has published a number of articles explaining these strategic concepts, which he presents comprehensively in a briefing entitled, "A Future Worth Creating: Defense Transformation in the New Security Environment." At the Naval War College, he serves as Director of the NewRuleSets.Project, an ambitious effort to draw new "maps" of power and influence in the world economy so as to expand the U.S. Military's--and specifically, the U.S. Navy's--vision of where and how it can wield maximum influence across the international security environment of the Era of Globalization. Thomas has written for Esquire, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Christian Science Monitor, and The Providence Journal, and published a book with Praeger entitled Romanian and East German Policies in the Third World: Comparing the Strategies of Ceausescu and Honecker (1992) In December 2002, he was selected by the editorial staff of Esquire as the "The Strategist" for their special edition entitled, "The Best and Brightest," which introduced a few dozen people "who are changing our world." Thomas has a BA (Honors) from the University of Wisconsin. Following Wisconsin, he earned an AM in Regional Studies: Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia and a PhD in Political Science from Harvard University. UFO Flying Triangle Footage, Mt Adams Washington

This is video footage shot with a sony nightshot camera of three points of light in a elongated Triangle pattern. Shot during the stay of CSETI 9-07-02. Several triangles and other paranormal sightings were made that week. CSETI practises ET contact in their week long training exercises. A week before we saw this one, we saw one that did a 180 degree complete turn and stopped... then all three lights went out together. This is impossible for a satellite to do as it would fall into the earths gravity losing centrifigal force keeping it in orbit. There was no sound and it was not a plane. The lights were high in the sky as satelites would be. Didnt notice it blocking out the stars as if it were a solid object. Have been told they may be NOSS Triads, spy satellites, by the National UFO Reporting Center. Satellites cant stop or turn in this way. The Heavens Above website lists NOSS satellites, secret satellites, how can they track top secret satellites? James Gilliland is the proprieter of the Sattva Sanctuary in Trout Lake Washington where it was filmed and heads ECETI (Enlightened Contact with Extra Terrestrial Intelligence, eceti.org). The footage is real and the ranch is open to the public during the summer with a new conference center and speakers this summer. Science Spirit and World Transformation Conference early July. UFO Earthlights Footage Mt Adams Washington Mysterious light

Taken with a Sony nightshot camera at 4 frames per second the mountain is about 13 miles away and these lights are visible to the naked eye on occasion when at their brightest. The lights have strobing intensity and a pure white light in color. The lights occur at many locations at once and pop up intermittently. I find the phenomena very interesting and some years and seasons are better than others for observation. The lights do not occur at the same location twice, they are always at some slightly different location, though in the same general area.
