Its now 5 years since the start of the Iraq conflict, and coming up to 7 years for Afghanistan.. can anyone remember why our troops were sent there? Was it for control of oil & heroin? Are these conflicts worth soldiers lives? I don't think so.

I am not in any way associated with the Help For Heroes campaign, but would encourage everyone to visit the website to find out more.
I'd also like to point out that the track is "Hey Ma" by James, and again, I am not associated with the band in any way, nor is this an "official" video - I heard the track, and felt the need to make something about this topic, compiling clips from YouTube. 5 years ago I was arguing for the conflict, on the grounds of the report from the British Government stating that Iraq had "Weapons Of Mass Destruction". This was false. I felt duped. Those soldiers killed, injured or just out there are doing their duty, but who is the enemy now? Why are they still there fighting? Confusing isn't it.

At Fort Benning in Georgia, and before, in Panama, our government trained foreign soldiers. The camp was called the School of the Americas, and graduates of this school committed many of the worse human rights atrocities of the last 50 years in South and Central America. This school is still in operation today. On our soil.
